Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Counterbalance Driver to join a client of ours. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to handle heavy lifting.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
• Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling and storage.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and shipments using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient operations and timely deliveries.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while on the road and in the warehouse.

Qualifications

• Proficient in materials handling, including heavy lifting tasks.
• Familiarity with warehouse processes such as shipping and receiving.
• Basic maths skills for accurate record-keeping and inventory management.
• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
