Titan Recruitment are currently looking for experience Wood Machinists for our well established client based in Cradley Heath!

Job role of a Wood Machinists:

• Be responsible for operating machinery in a professional, safe and accurate manner in accordance with the manufacturers instructions, training and health and safety guidelines
• You will need to be able to assist the Production Manager/ Production Foreman with the operation, coordination and control of all the laminating processes
• Ensure that goods, services and documentation are produces efficiently, that they are he right quality, quantity and that they are produced on time, to the satisfaction of the customer and company
• Must have knowledge of modern sawmilling, tooling and wood machining processes
• Attention to detail and methodical

Duties of a Wood Machinist:

• Follow ALL Health and Safety and Government legislations are followed and complied with
• Report all accidents/incidents/misuse of company equipment
• Maintain high standards of workmanship
• Carry put regular quality and quantity spot checks throughout all production processes
• Make sure that all products are produced on time in line with all production schedules
• Be responsible for monitoring and basic maintenance of equipment

Shift Pattern for a Wood Machinist:

Monday to Friday - 7:00am - 4:00pm

Pay Rate for a Wood Machinist:

Starting from £12.71
