Titan recruitment are looking for an experience Despatch Operative to join our well-established client based in Walsall!

Experience needed for a Despatch Operative:

  • picking and packing
  • previous despatch experience
  • able to work in a dusty and dirty environment
  • warehouse background
  • work well in a team and alone

Job role of a Despatch Operative:

  • Must have high energy
  • working on despatch
  • Picking orders
  • Heavy lifting
  • Attention to detail with part numbers and order numbers
  • Accumulating finished parts according to packing lists
  • Locating finished products and transporting them to the packing areas (by hand, sack truck, pump/pallet truck)
  • Weighing an labelling packages/pallets
  • Appropriate packing of products for export and UK
  • Dealing with courier drivers when collecting packages
  • Communicating with despatch co-ordinators and office staff

Shift times for Despatch Operative:

  • Monday to Friday - 8:00am - 5:00pm

Pay rate for Despatch Operative:

  • £12.21/hr
